RME User Forum → FireWire & USB series → Total mix sends audio to all output while software playback is at -00
I have a fireface 400 plugged into my pc with fw400to800- fw800 to thunderbolt 2- thunderbolt2 to thunderbolt 3 and everything was working fine for months.
However I recently have a weird bug where total mix send audio to the right channel of all my outputs even the if the software playback is at -00.
Anyone encounter this bug or has a way to resolve it?
I'll add a printscreen of total mix with that bug.
So how do you fix it? Switching off/on the unit? Unplugging FW/replugging? Total Reset in TM FX?
That's the problem, I can't.
I've got this work around though, since the audio sent directly to the output is only the right channel I split my strereo AN1/2 lower the right channel at -00 and boost the left channel at +6DB which give a balance channel at the output like so.

Any idea on how to resolve this? I know it's not the card because I tested it on my old macbook pro and everything works fine.
I tried reinstalling the drivers but so far nothing changed, it was working fine for the last three months so I suppose that my connection is fine too even though I pass through 2 apple adapters.
I found a solution that works but I have to do it for each output and if I restart the computer I have to do it again even if I save my mix. I split the strereo output, select the right channel, split the strereo software playback put each channel the to the max and then back down and it somehow reset the bug, here's a video on how to do it.
