Topic: How do I reset Fireface UFX

I'm getting a new PC and setting up my music studio again from scratch.
1. How do I reset the Fireface UFX to original state (like new from factory).
2. Please point me to the latest drivers (windows 10 pro) and software TotalMixFx

It's documented in the manual, ch 5.2, 6

You can load factory settings, Setup -> Settings -> Setup Select -> Factory

Driver and Firmware:

See Drivers, either Windows or Apple, either USB or Thunderbolt, depends on what you have.

- Get latest driver (USB or TB) and install (this installs latest TM FX which is bundled with this driver)
- Get latest flash update tool (USB or TB) and update the firmware of the UFX+

In TotalMix FX you can reset the mixer at any time (Total Reset), manual ch 24.1

Are the drivers for the Fireface UFX the same as the Fireface UFX Plus?

No ..
for UFX: use the "older" usb driver for devices like UCX, UCX II
for UFX+: the "newer" MADIface driver like for UFX II / UFX III

My Excel comparison sheet tells you, which product uses what RME driver:

Then look at the product page of a more recent / current product using this driver and follow the download link.

If you look at the legacy product pages, then the download links are not being updated and at the status/version when they became legacy.

Maybe a better idea would be to have one URL per driver/os pointing to the last recent version of driver.
Then RME would only have to change the "symbolic links" and
all download links would be up-to-date for all current and legacy products in one go.

Thanks. Forgot about this link for firmware and drivers, am using it only for software otherwise I am used to use the product page which works fine for recent products.

But one thing you do not get there, the latest (or Beta-) versions of TotalMix FX.
