Topic: totalmix settings Digiface Dante on USB lost or computer down

Hi there,

I'm using a Klang Vokal for inear monitoring. now I get al channels into the device and make a monitor mix . I get some FX submixes also like reverb vocals and reverb brass. Now the problem is that if I add them to my monitor mix for instance we have 4 vocals, the reverb is a sum of al those vocals so if I put the volume of one higher I get a more dry mix of that one vocal. if I give more volume to the reverb to compensate the other vocals drown in reverb.

So I like to use my MacBook with my Dante digiface to run every vocal trough totalmix and go back out again to my Klang Vokal inear mixer and mix reverb to it on every vocal separate in RME totalmix.

Now if my Macbook has a problem or shuts down wil the audio in stil be routed to the output of the Dante digiface so I stil have the vocals audio? of course without Reverb.

I wil use the power adapter to keep power on the Dante Digiface.

The current state should stay until power is lossed. Please try it. If USB off triggers a change to stand-alone mode already then a different routing will be active.
