Topic: MADI SFP module for AVB Tool

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting the Mic 12 or AVB Tool, but I want MADI. I see that the SFP module is sold separately, but there are two versions, single-mode and multi-mode. If I want to connect either of these devices by MADI to a UFX+, which SFP module do I need to use?

RME MADI units all ship with Multimode fiber ports by default. Single mode are only installed as a factory option, and will be noted on the hardware.

In this case I expect you need the Multimode SFP. The RME module ships with a short (LC-SC) MADI cable for connecting the LC ports on the SFP to the SC ports on the UFX+. It also includes a MADI coupler so you can extend the distance with another standard multimode MADI cable (SC-SC).
