Topic: Analog in, always signal, leave it or cut it out?

Hi

I was wondering, I have a record player preamp connected to the ADI-2 analog input. Assume it’s always on.
As such there is a very low (-88db or so) signal that is always on and goes into the AD side.
What is the recommendation, leave it always on or disconnect it when unused?

Edit: Obviously the ADI-2 goes normal into auto standby when unused smile

ADI2, Digiface, ARC

In the current firmware 115 (not yet released for Windows) the analog inputs also prevent standby mode. Trigger threshold is -70 dBFS, so AutoStandby should still work for you.
