Topic: RME adi 2 DAC FS

I am currently using lumin u1 mini. I am considering RME ADI 2 DAC FS. Can I use a USB  cable to connect the 2 devices. If I want to upgrade the firmware then I have to do this only via PC.

Ntsaf1...

Yes.  To apply new FW to your ADI-2 DAC, You simply need to:

*Download RME Firmware to your Computer

*Extract the file

*Connect Computer to your RME via USB Connection

*Click on the extracted FUT file

(FUT=Flash Update Tool)

*Poof!  Done!  Takes only Seconds!

*Power the RME Off, then On for the Update to be Finalized.

Because RME never stops improving their product, since years I do this routinely it seems.  This procedure (Windows) works fine.

Stu?  Wha?

RME's USB input works perfectly with a variety of USB devices.  My Super Vintage SBTs work superbly via USB, not to mention the RPI-4...

Bit Perfect all.  Where's the question?

Ok, so the usb port performs 2 tasks: First the upgrade of firmware and second the transfer of digital signal from lumin to RME and then deciding it to analogue and send it to CXA81 amp
