Topic: RME 12mic to 12mic D conversation?

Just wondering if this might be a thing? I use two 12mics via MADI regularly, but might RME would ever consider a factory conversation of an AVB 12mic to Dante?

Do you mean 'conversion'? The 12Mic can not be turned into a 12Mic-D. That one has different electronics inside.

I mean whip out the AVB circuit and drop in a Dante one! I just wondered if that might ever be a thing/service RME might provide. So many pieces of equipment have user-swappable i/o cards, and while I appreciate that's not how the 12mic is designed, I just wondered...
