Topic: Feature request: stereo enhancer

Hi,

Currently we have a function to narrow the stereo width, especially useful for use with headphones.

Using the DSP it should also be possible to widen the stereo width. I know this is by no means HiFi, but should be great fun watching movies with stereo speakers.

+1 from me.

Long time requested, Width parameter range:
0% (=mono) – 100% (= normal stereo) – 200% (full spread).

As side-effect 200% would fulfill the often requested “listen to M/S’ side-signal only“.


And while in this, I repeat my related request for the Mono/Stereo switch to offer:

[Mono to L]-[L to both]-[Reverse]-[Stereo]-[Mono]-[R to both]-[Mono to R]

Specially switching Stereo - Reverse is the best control for correct centering in the mix.
