Topic: Windows ARM driver for Parallels

Hi there,
do you know if is there are any plans to release ARM compatible drivers for RME USB interfaces?
Since the new M1/M2 Macs do not support BootCamp anymore the only way to run Windows on MacOS is via Parallels. So I can run Windows-only DAWs like Sequoia or Pyramix easily using Parallels but it is currently not possible to connect audio interfaces to this Virtual Machine. In the Parallels forum they said that you'd simply need a dedicated ARM driver for it to work.
Since Windows is also starting to develop their own line of ARM computers, slated for release sometime in 2023 I was wondering if RME is already working on those drivers.
That would make life a whole lot easier for Apple users who want to produce classical music and still profit from the much improved performance of Apple Silicon machines.

We are not and most probably never will work on such drivers.

That is sad to hear. Why are you so sure about it? Don't you think it might become really important as soon as Microsoft is pushing forward their own ARM-based SoCs? According to many sources this will happen sometime next year.
Is there any information about Bootcamp returning to Mac by any chance?
