Topic: External power supply for Babyface Pro FS

Hello.

I'm looking for a external power supply for the Babyface Pro FS.

I found this RME branded unit for 29€ plus powercord 3,90€.

33,90€?? For an external power supply, really?!

Is this the best choice or can someone suggest a product with same quality for a lesser price?

Really.

There are cheaper ones even at thomann, starting around 20 Euro. And of course you can get a 12V2A power supply for even less money. Just make sure the the cd plug is 5.5/2.1 mm. All these did not go through rme quality control nor do they have a lockable plug.

Or you may want to look for a medical grade power supply by a major brand like meanwell, but these don't come cheap.

Your choice. I woul go with the rme power supply.
