Topic: Thunderbolt 4 on new motherboards rear panel works with rme ufx+ ?

Hello
sorry if i did not see a post already telling this info but i searched already and all i can find is about thunderbolt 3 or using a pci-e card for thunderbolt.
My question is about the thunderbolt 4 ports at the back of the new motherboards itself like the z690 and newer ones that will be relased in the next few months: can i just get one of theses motherboard, buy the startech thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter TBT3TBTADAP, connect the ufx+ with it and be done with it?  This startech adapter seems like it's thunderbolt 3 to 2 converter, but i guess it will work with the thunderbolt 4 port at the back of the motherboards?
Also what cable price is normal for a 3meter thunderbolt 2 cable? i need aprox 3m length.
I need a thunderbolt 2 cable with the startech adapter right?
I saw nowhere in the ufx+ manual what thunderbolt version it is.
Now before you say just use USB instead, yes i know how it works, i just want to try thunderbolt if it's as simple as getting the startech adapter and a thunderbolt 2 cable because i always have some kind of on and off with usb, i think becuase i have a lot of usb devices. So i'm thinking for my next computer build with 13th gen intel the thunderbolt is directly going to the cpu instead of the chipset (mixed with usb bandwidth), that would maybe run better, even if it's not better, i want to try it with thunderbolt and see by myself in my particular setup if it helps or not i will just return it and use usb if it doesnt work out better for me.
Thanks!
