Topic: I am getting pops and clicks on M1

Hmmm I have never really got pops and clicks before with an RME interface at 256 buffers.  This seems a bit strange, but I am not on an M1 Mac mini and am getting pops and clicks with one track!

RME Babyface Pro, Mac Mini M1 Big sur latest

M1 Macbook Air BigSur, no clicks nor pops in Babyface and Digiface USB, all fine.

Is a DAW engaged ?
What is the interface ?
firmware number ?
driver version ?

Anything else connected to the computer ? USB ?
Midi-controller, printer, mousepad etc ?
Where can you hear the noise ? Headphones ? loudspeakers on main out analog ?
Can you see the clicks or pops in Totalmix ?
And in Digicheck ?

Did you ever solve this? What was the issue? Having the same issue over here. Mac M1, UFX2
Clicks are appearing even without a DAW engaged
