Topic: macOS 14: DriverKit driver or Kernel Extension Driver?

Hi,
I'm on macOS 14 and have a Digiface USB. I have both a MacBook Pro with M1 and a Mac mini with M2.

Should I install the DriverKit driver or Kernel Extension Driver?

Which one is recommended for lower latency?

No difference in latency.
I use the 409 driver on my MacbookAir M1 for Babyface, Madiface Pro and Digiface USB.
No issues.
This is the newest driver no need to experiment.

M1-Sequoia, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

I use the latest kernel extension on M1 on Ventura with no issues.
I tried the Driver Kit early on, when it was freshly out of beta. I suffered from unrecognised UCX after sleep states back then, so I changed back.

I would install the newest Driver Kit and just see if it works for you.
