Topic: Recording stops randomly MacOS Logic UFXII

With my 2 different MacBooks Pro (2015) recording stops randomly. MacOS from 10.15 to 12.xx and Logic 10.6.2 up to 11.1.
UFX II

I couldn’t find a reason.

Tried maximum Buffer (1024)
Sync extern or MTC continuous

Any ideas?

Eventually I will try a fresh installation with only the RME driver. But i want to avoid it.

What does stop ?
Logic stop from itself or is the recorded region missing a part ?

Any other audio plugins on the computer ?
Loopback, Blackhole, SoundSource, SoundSiphon, etc ?
You may delete those from the compter for testing.

Put back one when you really need it.

I tried an old SSD macOS 11.6 Logic 10.6
Never stops until SSD is full…

I will go the other way and go up from there…

No, when you are happy and things work fine, let it be this way.

There are some small improvements and features with new drivers, the driver readme text has this listed.

OK, thank you! I think i have „fixed“ my problem with an almost clean MacOS Installation. I will use those old MacBook only for recording and hope they will do.
Next stepp is the integration of more Mic Preamps and/or a second Interface.
