Topic: RME Digicheck CPU Problems

I'm using Digicheck for quite a while now and i've never had any Issues. But recently i started to get massive CPU Spikes as soon as i open Digicheck. My CPU is running really hot and all the Audio on my Computer starts to Freeze.

I don't assume the Problem is caused by Digicheck itself as i've been using it for over 2 years on my Computer without any Problems. Has anyone had a similar Problem and knows how to solve it?

Please detail your HW and setup.

Computer: OS/version, CPU, GPU, DRAM.
Which recording interface, driver/version.

Which version of RME Digicheck.

Try turning off active sample rate in Digicheck.

Original Digicheck: Options > Input device setup...,  uncheck "Set sample rate for ASIO inputs".
Digicheck NG: Options > Audio Device Setup, uncheck "Set Actively".
