Topic: Feature request: Update notification

There should be an option to enable a notification when a new update is available or even an auto-update option.

Makes alot more sense then periodically checking the website for a new version.

I agree this would be a useful feature. Having update or beta notifications built in would save users from having to check manually all the time.
