Topic: Thunderbolt enclosure for HDSPe AoX PCIe

Hi there - has anybody got any recommendations for a Thunderbolt enclosure for the HDSPe AoX PCIe with the two additional Madi cards?
It only needs one PCie slot, but has to have three spaces for the main card and two daughter cards.
Can find enclosures with one Pcie slot and two card spaces but not with three spaces.
There are enclosures with three Pcie slots - but these are more expensive and would waste two PCIe slots.

Many thanks

Adam

You probably already discovered Sonnet technologies ?

It is popular and widely recommended, but not cheap.

Alternative brand is unknown to me and I recommend to avoid super cheap non-brand stuff

Thanks waedi
Would be very happy with a Sonnet enclosure.
It's just a shame to have to buy one with 3 PCIe slots when I only need one actual slot
The Echo Express 1 is more what I was looking for - just needs a bit of extra room for the second daughter card !!

Thanks again

You are right, but if you put 3 CPU hungry PCie cards into this enclosure, will it work well ?
May be it's better to only use one slot of three and be on the safe side.
And you can add another card if need one day.

It is not cheap that's the pain.

No, OP could not add another card as he already needs 3 mounting possitions (1 PCIe and 2 aditional that do not need PCIe, but need the mounting slot.)
