Topic: 'Multiface II Connected' checkbox

In "Hammerfall DSP Settings" under "I/O Box" there is is setting "Multiface II Connected" with a checkbox.

What does checking/unchecking this setting do?
I can't find a reference to it in the manual, or searching this forum.

The reason I ask is that I saw in a 2011 thread < (https://forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=1295 >
a statement that the Multiface driver doesn't know if it has a first or second generation Multiface connected, and this leads to an incorrect Multiface II latency figure being reported to DAW software for latency compensation purposes.

I was wondering if this situation has since been updated and is why this checkbox for the "Multiface II Connected" had been added to the driver settings.

Re: 'Multiface II Connected' checkbox

as far as I know there is a option to disconnect the Multiface from the PC and keep the configuration intact, as long as it's connected to a power supply. That should be it.

Re: 'Multiface II Connected' checkbox

Ok, so it's only saying that there is a Multiface II connected.
If it knows this, it would be great if the driver could also report the correct latency values for the Multiface II.
