Topic: Fireface 802 FS sync check with Pulse 16 MX

I wanted to check the clocking accuracy of my FF 802 FS and Pulse 16 MX. They seem to be working fine however when I opened DigiCheck I can't see the Ferrofish device or a way to select it for a sync check.

They are locked via BNC, 48k and ADAT via optical cables.

Can't seem to find a way to run the check, am I missing something obvious?

Digicheck only shows you the digital inputs, it doesn't know what might be connected to them. What exactly is it you would like to "check" here?

Re: Fireface 802 FS sync check with Pulse 16 MX

Thanks for the very prompt response. I was just reviewing my set up connections and that I had configured everything correctly. I have both units terminated and the pulse set to BNC sync. It’s all working, but thought I could somehow check the word clock with synccheck, but can’t see a means to do so. The channels all seem to be showing up in DigiCheck. I really just want to be sure I haven’t cocked anything up.

Re: Fireface 802 FS sync check with Pulse 16 MX

If it works it works. Pulse should indicate, if it has sync. And driver of FF 802 FS probably shows, if it has signal sync on ADATs.

DigiCheck does not neither check, nor indicate if there is a sync.
