Hi Ramo.
Welcome to the RME user forum, and happy new year.
With the UFX III, you got an excellent audio interface.
I have been using UFX III (and UFX, UFX+ in the past) for many years with Windows 7, 10 (also tried 11)
and with all different Cubase and now also Nuendo versions without any issue.
I think it's only a small problem, so let's see what we can find.

This means either you
1. enabled all WDM devices in driver settings or
2. are using the UFX III in Class-compliant mode.
To 1: not recommended, as it creates a high load during startup as all devices are being created dynamically.
Older computers had issues with it.
But why do you do this? On Windows, it is best to use ASIO drivers for audio applications.
To 2: CC mode is intended for iPAD or Linux. Ensure, that you use the normal USB3 mode:
Check Options -> Hardware / Diagnostic -> Interface Mode: usually Auto but you can also enforce USB3

Do you know Cubase? After loading the proper RME MADIface ASIO driver, you need to add channels for inputs and outputs.
In Cubase 15 Pro, see Studio -> Audioconnections (F4).
You need to add buses for inputs and outputs.
Please provide screenshots of settings.
- RME driver settings
- Cubase (F4) Audio Connections
- and any screenshot that you regard as useful to show the problem.
I recommend
- Using Greenshot as a screenshot tool, as it's very easy to add arrows, boxes, and text to a screenshot to highlight the issue.
- Using Dropbox for placing screenshots, as you can't upload images directly to the forum.
How to post screenshots in the RME forum, see my short blog article on how to do that:
