Topic: TotalMix FX 2.00 Beta 14-GUI fails to open on startup (UCX II/Windows)

Hi RME Team,

I am experiencing an issue where the TotalMix FX GUI refuses to open automatically on system boot. While the process initializes and the icon appears in the system tray, the window stays closed/minimized.

System Environment:

Interface: UCX II

Software: TotalMix FX Version 2.00 Beta 14 x64

DAW: Reaper (Confirmed: Reaper opens and communicates with the UCX II ASIO driver perfectly; audio I/O is stable).

Troubleshooting already performed:

Task Scheduler: Configured a task to launch TotalMixFX.exe with a 30-second delay.

Settings: "Run only when user is logged on," "Highest privileges" enabled, "Hidden" unchecked.

Conflict Check: Verified shell:startup is empty and TotalMix is NOT enabled in the Task Manager "Startup apps" tab to prevent double-launch/single-instance blocks.

Process Status: After boot, TotalMixFX.exe is visible in Task Manager Processes, and the icon is in the tray, but the GUI does not "pop" onto the desktop. I have to manually click the tray icon to see the mixer.

Is there a known issue with window-state recall in Beta 14, or a specific command-line flag I should use in the Task Scheduler to force the GUI to manifest on the first launch?

Thank you

TM FX never opens the window on start, it only goes into the systray. To open the window you have to start it again.

So if you had TM FX let reside in autostart it would work. If you don't want that then just double your call.
