Topic: An experiment

MADIface Pro interfacing via USB2 which is interfacing MADI optical with MADI port 2 on a “vintage” HDSPe MADI FX (rev1) that is interfacing a Sonnet chassis by TB on another “vintage” laptop. MADI port 3 on the HDSPe MADI FX is interfacing an ADI 648 via 75 ohm cables just because maybe I’ll try to interface a Babyface Pro fs via ADAT that is on a laptop located in a writing room about 20 away from the studio control room.

4 RME devices all connected digitally - no problem.

Make one of them clock source internal and all others sync to external.

What means 20 ?
20 miles or km ? This would be too much for Adat optical, 20 feet is no problem and 20 m is a bit critical but should work.
