Topic: DC Band - Spectral Analyser

Would it be possible if 'Show DC in 20Hz-Band' had different color to the rest of the band within the analyser.

This would enable easy viewing of just how much is currently present, as at the moment there is no way to know how much DC content is within that band.

Thank you

Re: DC Band - Spectral Analyser

The pure DC voltage level is shown in the [Bitstatistics and Noise] display, right at the end.

Re: DC Band - Spectral Analyser

A separate color for the DC portion would definitely improve readability at a glance. For now, the Bitstatistics and Noise panel gives the exact value geometry game 2, but it’s less intuitive during real-time monitoring.

Re: DC Band - Spectral Analyser

The question is what frequency in Hz or below you define as the DC component.

good question that I would like the answer to

Re: DC Band - Spectral Analyser

That's not the answer. In an Analyzer it's about bandwidth. DC in AC material can not be measured without a steep and slow filter. One could maybe say 0 to 5 Hz as lowest band, and call that DC then...but such a version is not useful to work with. DC NG already has 25 Hz band, then 20 Hz down to DC with acceptable reaction time. IMHO good enough.
