Topic: Routing Problem SPDIF /Focusrite Clarett Pre Plus 4

Hello everybody,
got an AIO hdspie for my new PC, jusing Cubase pro13, Win 11. I tried to connect the rme AIO via S-PDIF with a Focusrite Clarett pre plus 4 as preamp/ I/O Device. So far, the connection DWA-RME-SPDIF-Focusrite seem to work, as I can hear the DAW playback with headphones plugged to the focusrite. But I got problems to get the input routing working (Focusrite Analog in - SPDIF - RME Analog IN - DAW). Got some snapshots, which I made with a signal on focusrite Analog 1. Thanks in advance your your support

The snaqpshots need to be uploaded to the internet first.
You may use a free public image service like imgbb or imgur

open the link in your browser
right-click the image
copy image address
paste image adress between img tags in the forum post

Ah in the mean time the image links arrived.

There is SPDIF signal coming in in SPDIF input channel in the interface.

Where is the issue ?

In the DAW select input channels 11/12 there is your signal from the focusrite

In Cubase I would make 1 stereo input for SPDIF as it carries the stereo signal,
instead of having two mono inputs (SPDIF L, SPDIF R).

thank you @waedi and @ramses, thanks for your support which solved the problem:
the problem was indeed wrong  routing input in the daw. I used first the An1/2 as inputs, after changeing them to SPDIF l/R everything works fine. Thank you so much!!!
