Hi,
as I use my UFX+ home in production studio, I've chosen to change the behaviour of the ARC USB "Talkback" switch to "Toggle Totalmix Windows". And it works great, except one tiny detail - can we ask to bring the window to the front when it is showing? At the moment the Totalmix window shows somewhere below all the currently opened windows.
I hope all of us agree that it should behave like that

Ok.. so "Always on top" is disabled. Here, on mac, on toggle the ARC button all TM windows get to the frontmost app (on all monitors - right-click the app icon - assigned to all desktops is enabled here). On toggle again, all TM windows hide... (excerpt if terminal is open and "secure keyboard entry" is enabled - but thats a special case)...
Still unsure, if i got it - does he want sth like a "push" option instead of "toggle" in ARC usb settings assignments at all?
Didn't test it in windows as detailed as on mac for now, but afaik, it behaves generally similar.
Hm, not sure why, but I've just had some cases where TM would appear behind other windows on my PC, can't reproduce it right now. Haven't actually tested it on a Mac yet, can do tomorrow, if necessary.

His first and second post contradict. Not sure what he really wants.
He wants the toggle Totalmix windows make it upfront but when he click on the window of another app he wants to get this upfront and Totalmix in the back as normal.
"Always on top" is too much for him, its no longer normal.
Click into cubase and it stays covered with Totalmix, not good.
I don't see a contradiction, I think he's just claiming this doesn't work as it should on the Mac. Haven't tested that myself so far.

When the Totalmix window is on the bottom (under other windows), the current behaviour while using the "Toggle Totalmix Windows" button on Windows is:
hide it,
show it - still under other windows.
And I suggest it should do:
bring it to the front
hide it,
show it AND bring it to the front.
I see the "1. bring it to the front" as optional but it is IMO the expected behaviour. The last "3. show it AND bring it to the front" is crucial. I think this should also make the TotalMix window active one (as at the moment the window shows somewhere but isn't the active window).
This might be important - It always shows on the top when I close the TotalMix with Alt+F4, but it doesn't show on the top when I close it with the toggle button. (Still it doesn't opens as the active window, so I need to Alt+Tab to it or use a mouse first!)
PS. I use the TotalMix FX 2.00 RC 1 x64 at the moment with the new design (beautiful and pretty responsive! I love it!)
Maybe it works the same, but the current version is 2.01, not 2.00 RC1 (there were 3 minor updates/fixes since then).

You're totally right. Unfortunately - I've just upgraded to the 2.01 x64 - it works the same.
