Topic: Totalmix 2.0(3) Color Visibility suggestion

TM 2.03 user here. Started to mess around with colors on channels. It is a great feature that in new design background color of each channel strip changes and this looks great and is very helpful in work, but my suggestion is to give an option for channel labels to remain white when changed channel color, because when labels are colored, they are hardly readable, too dark. In old design colored labels were more readable. I have the impression that highlited labels were previously equally illuminated as the other channel labels  but now in new design it is kind of a problem because only highlited channel's label is illuminated enough. I can't read the labels on the fly, have to really focus to read them.
So my suggestion: either make colored labels more visible like in old design, or give option to make all labels white when channels are colored. Other than that thank you very much for your work on TM 2.0 i love the new design.

Thanks for the feedback. Readability with colored fonts is a general issue, even more so with age and a bit color blindness, but shouldn't be an issue here as you can easily zoom in and out any time. Plus when have everything set up and worked with it a bit no longer need to read the channel names. Nevertheless we'll discuss the two options that you suggested.

Zooming in and Out isn't the best option - we can't have more control over colors? Would be great to have further color options too. Or HEX value input.

This is correct in some cases like in mine.
Well when working in studio then this is doable bc there's no time pressure, mouse and keyboard are in use so then zooming is ok. I even have my Tm Fx on separate screen so it is totally fine then.

But my primary use scenario is on stage. I'm a gigging musician, have my computer set up on stage next to me and apart from playing the instrument I do backing tracks and IEMs for the whole band. My setup is MBP(m1 pro), RME UFX+ and 2x Ada8200. I really have to be focused to operate everything during show, constantly switching between Ableton Live and Totalmix Fx, adjust things on the fly even while playing but mostly between the songs. No mouse at that time, and operating with one hand only.
So for me either Old Design when using colors or New Design with white only is usable for now.

Upcoming 2.1 beta 1 has an option that should solve this issue for you.
