RME Control 2.6
Menu bar application for controlling RME audio interfaces via TotalMix FX.
Works via Global OSC only with TotalMix 2.1+

Features:
1 - Volume control for any outputs (including Main Out and headphones) via Mac volume keys with an adjustable step size of 1–10 dB, menu-bar control, output muting, and assignable analog channels for independent routing.
2 - Dim/Mute function via the Mac mute key.
3 - Mono toggle via SHIFT+CMD+M.
4 - Speaker B button.
5 - Phantom power and instrument mode control for any number of input channels, along with input level monitoring via a dedicated always-on-top window.
6 - Clipping notification.
7 - Input and output channels can be edited and new ones can be added.
8 - Customizable menu.
9 - When TotalMix or the audio interface is disconnected, values cannot be changed; in this case, the Mac volume keys revert to their native system behavior. The application reads values from TotalMix at startup and is fully synchronized and stable.
10 - The 'RME Control Remote' block has appeared in the application settings — just flip the 'HTTP server' toggle, and the app will launch its own web server within your home network. A QR code will appear on the screen — scan it with your phone (connected to the same Wi-Fi), and you will get a full RME remote control right in your mobile browser.

Setup:
1. TotalMix: set OSC Host to 127.0.0.1, ports to 7001 / 9001.
2. OSC Mode: Options → Mixer Settings → OSC → Compatibility (Mode): Global OSC
3. Enable Send Status
4. Enable Send level data
5. Enable Peak hold
6. Enable Send all data on start
7. macOS: grant the app Accessibility permissions.

Very cool--is there a way to configure which four HW inputs correspond to the 4 MIC/LINE channels? I can't seem to get them to reflect the incoming audio.

App updated, give it a try. Try to find out which Global OSC commands your inputs correspond to and change them in the settings.

Great, thank you! For some reason, keyboard control stopped working with this new version--the volume slider in the popup with the name of the interface on it is grayed out. But the dropdown menu works correctly.

Hi! Please try removing and re-adding RME Control in the macOS Accessibility settings. Kindly let us know whether this resolves the issue.
I also recommend enabling the Peak hold function in the global OSC settings for the clipping notification to work correctly.

That worked, thanks! It has to be actually removed (with the "-" button on the bottom of the list); simply disabling and reenabling the app didn't do it.

And the clipping warning works properly once peak hold is activated.

One other suggestion: it would be great to be able to pick whether the mute button maps to dim or mute (instead of always dimming).

hi! thanks a lot for this! my main is different than analog 1/2. with the volume key it controls analog 1/2 not main assigned channels?
