Yes. We got a very good successor with the OctaMic II.

The Octamic II will connect to the Multiface, too, and digitally (ADAT.

It is kind of a bummer but I can understand why RME did it from a business/ marketing standpoint.
The Octamic or Octamic II really doesn't have any competition in its price range so why not save on manufacturing cost and just sell one unit. The Octamic II still costs less than anything else in it's class or capabilities.
