Topic: Wavelab 6 Digi96/8 scroll problem

I just recently upgraded to Wavelab 6, with a new PC, using the Digi96/8. My problem is the cursor scroll in both the wave and audio montage window, lags behind when playback is initiated. It takes any where from 6 to 10 seconds to finally catch up, and from there stays pretty in sync with the audio. This happens no matter which driver I use, either WDM or ASIO, and from what I can find on the RME website, I have the most recent driver, vers.2.11. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate any help. This has been very frustrating as Steinberg could not offer any solution, and a couple of emails to RME have not been answered.

Thank You!

Re: Wavelab 6 Digi96/8 scroll problem

Hi,

try with the latest WL 6.1.1, check Steinbergs ftp server

check under "Options" menu - Scrolling during playback
change and see if this would change behavior

other than this go to the WaveLab forum and ask

Re: Wavelab 6 Digi96/8 scroll problem

Thanks for your reply and help. It turned out to be another audio driver that was installing each time I rebooted the system.

Thanks,
