Topic: Pops when uing clicking in Logic Pro 9's playthead with HDSPe-AIO

When I change position in a Logic Pro 9 project by clicking the mouse in the playhead or by using  the  Go To Position key command, I hear a little pop. While not a deal breaker it is annoying and did not happen with my previous audio interface.

I have the same problem with this card (last drivers and firmware)

I've tried all the latency values but the problem is still present.

It is more obvious when i listen music with foobar and surf on the internet. If i move the arrow over the hyperlink I have a pop at each hyperlink rollover

I would appreciate some feedback from RME on this matter.

Atom's issue sounds like Windows Sounds are still enabled.

Hi dandruff. No, windows sound are desactivated. Anyway a rollover on a hyperlink don't produce any sound (just the clic I think)

Nevertheless there are browsers that start there own sounds on certain activities. There is no such effect or bug in the Windows driver. Under Mac we will check.

I posted this several days ago. I don't think it is expecting too much to expect that I would at least get one of the following responses:

We  cannot reproduce this.
or
Yes, that is to be expected.
or
Yes we are  aware of this and will try  to fix it.

Re: Pops when uing clicking in Logic Pro 9's playthead with HDSPe-AIO

Solved.

Jeff answered me privately that RME could not reproduce this and perhaps it was an unmodified card that could not handle the system load. I was pretty sure that was not the case.

Somehow my gut instincts seemingly helped me fix the problem. I re-performed the flash update and reinstalled the latest driver and now the issue seems to be gone.

Go figure:)
