Topic: RME FireFace 400 problem.

I got this problem here. Today I accidentally unplugged a cable of it from my PC while I was plugging in my old monitor, then I plugged it back but all of a sudden I see red HOST light and I get no sound. What could possibly be wrong? Thank you for answering.

Let's hope you haven't damaged the device.

Can you test it on another computer?

Re: RME FireFace 400 problem.

I have no possibilities of testing it on another computer as I got only one. I don't think it could have happened as I can plug it to all the three plugs I'm able to and they all show the red HOST light. I guess if it burnt, it wouldn't show anything at all.
Edit: I opened PC to see if it's not, and it seems to be not burnt, so any other ideas?

Could anyone come up with any quick tips what could I do at this situation? I would need my sound back asap.

That was a drastic example only. Usually the port dies without any visible outside damage.
