Topic: Fireface Uc & Sonar

Hi !

I just bought a RME fireface UC

My system is:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad
Windows XP SP3 32bits
SONAR X1
In Sonar, sounds have cracks and a message say :  "RME FIREFACE has been disconnected in  Sonar etc, "
I tried to change parameters but...nothing...

Soundforge 9 and FRUITIY LOOPS works fine
help me !!  please

Hi aniello, I thought I would reply to you're post because I have a similar setup. I am far from an expert, but thought I would give just try and give a few ideas. Maybe try adjusting you're latency in Sonar. Try using a different USB port. You say Soundforge and FL work fine. Maybe try another DAW and see if you experience the same problems.

They should put you in a glass jar.

thank you Cicatrix, I changed the USB port and  reinstall  the driver, and change the latency  in  Sonar but I've always the same problem, cracks when  my  DAW read ONE audio  file !
I make music since 10 years on computers, I worked with Terratec, Emu and Native audio interface and it's the first time I can't heard normal sound : for 850  euros !!!!
and nobody can help me
what can  I do ??? I don't know...
