Topic: Question about analog recording?

Hello

I jast opened up the manual and it seies that for analog regording the max imput should be -3db.
Why?

Because I always recorded at pick level 0db.

Ofcuse i can maintain the  analog level -3 db and with slider internaly reise level to 0db

But mt question is why should analog imput be at -3 db peak? and also with diggital imputs should  thay  be -3 too?

Thank U very much.

I hope u are not angry for me with my stupid questins....

Re: Question about analog recording?

The manual talks about a safety headroom for analog recordings, where you have to expect short higher peaks at some place.
