Topic: connecting two ADI-8 QS together

I'm waiting on a second AES cabe to connect two ADI-8 QS together but before it arrives I thought to ask some questions ahead of time.

The manual doesn't appear to cover chaining ADI-8 QS together.

Are there tips on connecting midi so one remote works for the two units?
Any other tips on syncing two ADI-8 QS together?

I'm using the HDSPe AES 32

You cannot connect the ADI-8 QS units in series. Each one connects to the HDSPe AES individually, via 2 DB-25 to DB-25 AES/EBU cables.

I don't believe 1 remote can control both units in any way. Sync can be achieved via word clock or via the AES connection from the HDSPe card.

I'm thinking about adding a 3rd ADI-8 QS now. 24 channels in total.  I have one HDSPe AES. What interface do you suggest to give me 24 channels of AES?

Two AES cards... ;-) Or a MADI card.
