Topic: Switch between 2 monitor setups-Babyface

Hi
Is it possible to configure a single button on the Babyface unit to swich between the Main output (A) and Phones output (B)?

I'd like to connect my main Adam powered monitors to A and my Yamaha Ns-10 to B and switch around when mixing. I'd like to use a single button and it would be best if the Totalmix remembered a fixed output volume setting.

Is this possible?
Best regards!
Kasper

Re: Switch between 2 monitor setups-Babyface

There is no programmable key on the Babyface that could switch between snapshots or something similar. However, you could use the Recall level to mute the main output.

Speaker B function is supported for some time already...via the Select key, see Key Commands.

Re: Switch between 2 monitor setups-Babyface

Hi guys.

So I would be able to assign a key on my mac keyboard, and switch between 2 sets of monitors?
Would it be possible to do it while playing back from Logic studio?

I would like to suffice with just a single Babyface unit in my home studio:-)

You can assign a F key to the Speaker B function and switch between the outputs assigned to Main and Speaker B.

Only when the Babyface has the input focus. Always on top does not help, as - in your case - Logic has the input focus for the keyboard.
But as MC wrote, you can assign the Select button on the Babyface to the Speaker B toggle feature.
