Topic: can't find babyface on windows 7 device manager

Dear RME Friends

I read the babyface quickstart guide and am trying to install it in my new win7 computer.  I plug in (tried all usb ports), open device manager, and never see anything about babyface

How should I proceed?

Thanks for your response Daniel,

Here are the steps I follow:

1. Plug babyface in usb port.  Babyface lights up
2. Open device manager
3. The only listing with "audio" or "sound" is an idt codec that came on the computer

I can email you a screenshoot of the device manager window with babyface plugged in if it would help

Any suggestions on how to proceed?  The babyface worked fine on my now defunct XP-based computer and I am hoping to use it on Win7 as well
