Topic: Is USB 3.0 still limited to a 1 ms block ?
Hi RME !
Just a quick USB 3.0 question.
From previous info provided by RME, the basic USB 2.0 design specification is built in 1 ms blocks - hence the reason we cant get a working USB 2.0 Audio ASIO driver to work at 32 Samples is because USB 2.0 simply " wont go " any lower than a 1 ms block
My question then is:-
=> does the USB 3.0 design specificaition also have this same 1 ms block ?
or
=> will USB 3.0 [ combined with Native Windows 8 support ] eventually allow for USB 3.0 drivers that can go as low as PCIe ?
