Topic: Windows 8 drivers

Any word when working windows 8 drivers will be available now that Windows has released to manufacturing?

Yes, I have tried the 7/13 drivers. When I addressed this issue earlier with tech support, it was more a less a 'someday' response.

I have a new set of monitors, and I'm ready to change to another audio interface. Its been 8+ months and nothing.

No clue what you are talking about. Our drivers work under Windows 8.

Seriously? That's your response? No ask for assistance in straightening out the problem? No intention or desire to assist a customer? What a f*cking clueless company. Kind of the same attitude I got with tech support too, but I was trying to be nice. No need I see. Your a company obviously on the chopping block. Good luck to you losers. RME in the trash.

Your post speaks for itself. What prevents you from giving the details of your problem(s) without explicitely getting asked?

The issues that you reported (in May) have not been reported elsewhere and do not appear to be specific to Windows 8, else our developers would be aware of them (and the would be fixed) and/or we would have more similar reports here.
You might want to try this (which applies to Win7), but I must admit I have personally not tested it, so it may or may not help: http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=9827
