Hey,
i just switched from winXP 32bit to win7 64bit and i have BIG troubles installing my FF UC on my new system.
I've read the manual and like 95% of the posts concerning this topic on this board.

Here's my scenario:

I plug in the FF (yes, i switched it on PC mode first when the usb-cable was NOT attached after booting the FF while holding the encoder button).
The pc finds an unknown device.
I am opening the device-manager and i find the FF in the category usb-device with a yellow triangle, named "unknown device" (not in the audio-section, like it should be).
After manually installing the driver, as described in the manual and here on the board (rightclick update driver -> select source -> ... ), i always get this error msg:
"The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation.”

i tried the driver on the RME-driver-cd, and i downloaded the latest driver from the RME homepage -> SAME error.

I've no clue what to do ... i hope someone has got a tip for me ...
