Topic: Anti-alias filters = default?

There is no mention in the Fire/Babyface manuals of anti-aliasing filters, just low pass, below the sampling rate.  Has it come to the point in digital audio that anti-aliasing filters are an automatic default, tied to the sampling rate selected, so that it is no longer mentioned in the specs?  That all audio input is low pass filtered at just above or equal to the sampling frequency?  We'd sure like to know before investing in a Fire/Babyface, or putting in our own filter that is not needed.
thanks!

Indeed you missed the last 15 years of AD-converter development. Just download a data sheet of the usual ADCs, from TI or AKM, it is all in there.
