Topic: Babyface regular white noises how to avoid

Hi,
first of all thank you for all the posts that you have sent regarding the noises on Babyface.

I record by means of mic SM81 <-> Babyface <-> Macbookpro and I am little bit disappointed by white noises that arising. So, I would really be grateful if you could share your experience on how to avoid such noises in advance, I do not know, maybe some best practices, settings etc. in other words how to record from analog input and be convinced you have done your best.

There is no known problem like this, and therefore no standard solution or "experience". Please provide more details about the problem. Have you tried another microphone? Or recording from line level sources?
