Topic: BabyFace Class Compliant update??

I am originating a thread with this title because the similar UFX thread seems to have hogged the limelight on this topic.

As I have posted elsewhere, I believe that CC for the BabyFace is an equally valid improvement for the portable capabilities it brings.  While BabyFace powering adds a slight complication, the overall utility of the iPad/BabyFace combo is attractive to me.

I hope this thread gives an opportunity for those of a like mind to express their interest in such a feature in a democratic manner, and give reasons to help the RME team prioritise their efforts.

Is it possible that code development for the CC in the UFX can be readily ported to the BabyFace?  Is there any roadblock in terms of FPGA resources that might rule this out?

Over to you.

+1
I am a music and music education student and would love to see this happen.
I was going to ask Mathais or the RME team if this was even considered or possible. I know the windows surface will be interesting but the fact is most students and schools use the iPad, here anyway.

My babyface is wonderfull, but I no longer know wether to hold on to it as I use an iPad for teaching, performance etc and am moving away from desktops/laptops.

Please... someone let us know, if you can. Even if it is not possible due to restrictions.
OP, thanks for starting the thread.
