Topic: fireface UC + UCX in one computer?

Hi!

I`m an old RME user. Back in the days I had a 9652, and then a HDSP9652 + AES32 cards installed for a massive amount of in/outs in my computer.
Now I have a fireface UC for portability since I`m doing a lot of recording outside. I`d like to expand the in/outs in my system and get the ipad compatibility for using the auria app in the ipad, so I`m thinking in getting a fireface UCX as well.

So here are the questions:

Can I connect both the UC and UCX to my computer and I`ll have the 16ins and 16 outs sharing the same ASIO driver? I mean, can I access within i.e. nuendo to all the ins/outs from both card simultaneously?

Does the same works with the UCX in class compliant USB mode?

Will the UCX (alone) send audio to both PC using FW(nuendo) and ipad using USB(auria) ?

Yes, if the UCX is connected to USB.

No.

Will the UCX (alone) send audio to both PC using FW(nuendo) and ipad using USB(auria)?

No. Either CC or ASIO.
