Topic: RME 400 powers on for a second then lights fade out

My Rme 400 has started to play up. Everytime I turn it on it powers up for a second then the lights just fade out.
If I leave the power out for a few minutes and put back in then the same fade out issue re-occurs.

Cant seem to get my Rme 400 back on? what do I need to do? thanks.

RME FF400 (v3.047)
Ableton 8.2.5
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit SP1, 2.83ghz Quad Core, 6GB ram

Same phenomenon with external and bus power supply? If external, can you try another PSU?

Hi. Thanks for the fast reaponse.  Yeah its only when using the psu...how can i replace it? Are there generic psu's i can buy or do i have to buy from rme? Thanks

You can grab any PSU that is within the specs printed in the manual or on the back of the unit (12 V, 2 A, any polarity, will do).
