Topic: Adding an external hardware limiter to Babyface totalmix main output

Hi,

Is it possible to route the main output of the Babyface to a hardware limiter, within Totalmix?

Thanks

Re: Adding an external hardware limiter to Babyface totalmix main output

Anyone?

The question seems unclear... What is there to "route"? Once you send signal to the main output, whatever happens after that is not a matter of Totalmix.

Please describe what you are trying to achieve more clearly.

Re: Adding an external hardware limiter to Babyface totalmix main output

That is exactly what I was trying to do.

I keep slipping on the main output level slider in Totalmix, with the mouse, and it keeps blasting the speakers at max level.

It's going to blow my ears off!!! yikes

I was wondering if there was any way to limit the signal, other than putting a limiter on the main balanced output cable, which will possibly colour the sound....
