Topic: connecting my monitors to rme babyface

Hi, I just recieved my babyface in the mail today and noticed that I had forgotten that my monitors only has RCA outputs ( HeadScratch ) and the provided breakout cable does not provide this support.

I want to be able to connect both my microphone via XLR and my monitors via RCA to the RME babyface with this breakout cable. So my question is if this is what I'm looking for; http://www.thomann.de/se/rme_bo968_aese … tkabel.htm ? Would that one work with the babyface?

I'm not that good with this stuff but I hope I made enough sense.

Hi,

hm, but I don't see a XLR connector on the BF-BOCMKH? It says " 15-pin D-sub to 4 x RCA Analog, 2 x MIDI, 1 x Phones, for Babyface."

Where will I connect my microphone to if I buy that one? Because I would need a XLR3 female to connect my microphone to it...
