Topic: ucx, samplitude and clicks
hello to everyone,
as in my old discussions i had problems with digital clicks so i thought that the best way would be a mac via bootcamp, considering i use samplitude with rme ucx.
But the problems are not finished:-O
Configuration:
macbook pro 13 2011 with bootcamp last version
fireface ucx with last drivers (both usb and firewire had the same problems)
samplitude 11 pro (with usb key license control)
i have audio clicks and buffer lost in samplitude, so i made some tests with latencymon.
In attachment what are the problems. Il seems to be the ACPI.sys driver, but it is so strange because from device manager it is DISABLE (ACPI COMPLIANT CONTROL.....)!!!
If somebody tell me the solution will make me very happy, because y i think also the mac go out from the window in few days.
I'm always more convinced that all the computers, also the mac, nowadays are computers for mobile and not for pro audio.
Perhaps pc built for audio, as ADK, go well, but i have not test them.
The problem is NOT the audio card, on mountain lion with digital performer is OK!
I will the tomorrow ucx with another sequencer on windows.
