Topic: RME Babyface output question

Hello everyone, I just purchased a babyface and I'm having a bit of trouble. I apologize for the dumb question but I've been searching and can't find the answer......

I'm trying to use the babyface headphone output ANA 1/2 into my stereo receiver input with a 1/4 inch guitar cord, but sound is only coming out of one speaker (left speaker) and there is no sound coming out of my right speaker.

Am i missing something here?

Thanks a lot.

Re: RME Babyface output question

Seems you are using a mono cable... Also, what kind of connectors are there on the receiver?

Re: RME Babyface output question

I just took a look at the manual and I think I found the answer.

"In case the phones output is to be used as line output, usually an adapter TRS plug to RCA phono plugs, or TRS plug to TS plugs is required."

So I guess I can't use a regular 1/4 inch guitar patch cord.
