Topic: SPDIF connexion with UFX?

Morning,

I would like to feed the spdif output of my Sony PCM-2300 into the UFX. Should  i use the AES/EBU sockets with a 3 pin Neutrik connector, or use the adat2 input? The Pcm2300 has no optical outputs.

you can use an XLR to RCA adaptor, and set the AES output to (Consumer) in the Fireface UFX settings.

Thks Michael,

I've just been runnin' thru the UFX users manual and found the correct cabling page 43, pin 3 signal to cinch ground and pin 2 to cinch sig. I'll check the settings to AES consumer.
