Topic: Will FF 800 work with Babyface?

I've happily worked with a FF800 since 2004, still an awesome piece
of hardware.
Could I use a babyface to connect the FF800 with a USB only
Win7 64bit computer via ADAT or SPDIF?
Would that make any sense and simply increase the number of
the Babyfaces inputs? Any drawbacks?

You can use the Fireface 800 as stand alone ADAT converter, expanding the Babyface with additional 8 analog and/or digital I/Os (at 44.1 and 48 kHz).
